Zhanna Galeyeva
Zhanna Galeyeva, co-founder and CEO of Bird of Light Ukraine, established the organization in response to the 2022 Ukraine invasion. As a Ukrainian American, Zhanna serves as a vital bridge, channeling western resources and expertise to benefit Ukrainians directly. She continues to be instrumental in bridging cultural, language, and relationship gaps between western entities and Ukrainians. Under her leadership, Bird of Light has channeled over $5.5 million in humanitarian aid by 2023. This includes supplying food and hygiene kits for over 90,000 Ukrainians, inaugurating 15 community centers, supported providing water to over 100,000 victims of the Kahovka dam catastrophe, and countless other lifesaving aid.

Isaac Yeung
Isaac Yeung, co-founder and COO of Bird of Light Ukraine, has been central to providing both immediate relief and long-term support to Ukraine. Committed to human-centered values, his leadership has driven major humanitarian initiatives across the country. Notably, Isaac has excelled in procurement and logistics, ensuring the delivery of essential supplies to tens of thousands affected by various crises, from food and hygiene kits to vital infrastructure and medical aid. Under his guidance, community centers for the displaced were established and significant lifesaving aid was procured and distributed.

Kyrylo Lapko
Kyrylo is a seasoned legal expert with over 6 years in project management and diverse expertise spanning tax, construction, and corporate governance. He played pivotal roles in establishing Invincibility centers in Ukraine and managing the international NeedsList project, while also being central to crisis response in Kherson. Kyrylo has offered key legal counsel to major entities like the International Rescue Committee, GIZ, and Mercy Corps, solidifying his standing as a dynamic asset in both legal and managerial realms.
