Care Packages
As a result of the ongoing war, Ukraine has been reduced to two major supply routes - the Polish and Romanian borders. Furthermore, as national infrastructure, food storage, and internal supply routes have suffered tremendously, this has compounded into a massive food scarcity problem within the country, especially for those living in conflict or conflict-bordering zones.
To address this, Bird of Light Ukraine has launched a full procurement-to-delivery care package program. By doing so, this program aims to address the problems of procurement of supplies, provisioning of all needed items, and last-mile delivery into areas in need of aid.
At present, Bird of Light Ukraine is delivering 66 tons of food per month to those in need. Or, in more understandable terms, the equivalent of 258,000 meals per month in the form of 6000 care package bags.
Each care bag is able to satisfy a family of 4’s food and hygiene needs for a month.

Procurement to Final Mile
It isn’t enough to just bring supplies into Ukraine. They need to get into the hands of those that need them the most for the journey to be completed. To make sure this happens, Bird of Light Ukraine is managing the whole process from procurement to delivery.
To manage delivery, we are coordinating with courageous drivers from around the country who are driving regular supply routes to areas where aid is needed the most.
Bird of Light Ukraine is currently delivering to the following regions:
Odesa Oblast
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Chernivtsi Oblast
Kharkiv Oblast
Mykolaiv Oblast
Kherson Oblast
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
