1,000 Care Packages for Pavlograd: Nourishing Families on the Frontline of Displacement
For thousands fleeing the intensifying conflict in Donetsk, the city of Pavlograd is their first stop toward safety. Though still under frequent bombardment, Pavlograd now hosts over 15,000 internally displaced people (IDPs)—many of whom arrive with nothing but the clothes they wore to flee.
In response to this urgent humanitarian crisis, Bird of Light Ukraine, in partnership with The World Orphan Fund, Diamondback Energy, and VPO Ukraine, has delivered 1,000 food care packages to displaced families in the region. Each package weighs 13.2 kg, contains 40,339 calories of vital nutrition, and includes essential staples like grains, canned meat and vegetables, cooking oil, salt, tea, and coffee—everything needed to sustain a Ukrainian household in crisis.
These life-sustaining supplies have brought urgent relief and dignity to 1,000 households—helping families regain some stability amid the chaos of displacement. Volunteers across Pavlograd prepared and delivered the packages directly to those in need, standing as a testament to grassroots resilience and international solidarity.
We are deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and donors who made this possible. As shelling continues and needs grow, we remain committed to delivering not only food and water—but compassion, care, and hope.
