ART UNITES! Turning Creativity Into Shelter for Ukraine’s Orphans

This spring, we came together in the spirit of creativity, community, and compassion through Art Unites—a special fundraising event to support Ukraine’s orphaned children. What started as an art experience grew into something much larger: a tangible step toward giving children in need a home.

Thanks to your generous support, we raised $63,212 to provide safe, loving housing for children who have lost everything to war. While this fell short of our initial $250,000 target to build a six-bedroom home, we found a solution that allows your impact to go even further.

Partnering with Save Ukraine, we will invest $40,000 into the construction of a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath modular home in Irpin. This house will become home to a foster family of four—two parents and two orphaned children—offering a safe space and a sense of belonging. Save Ukraine will match our funds to provide land, utilities, and ongoing family support.

The remaining funds will support intensive interaction therapy for children with disabilities, empowering their development and improving chances of adoption. With fewer children per home and higher-quality care, this revised plan increases cost efficiency by 36% and deepens impact per child.

Art Unites was more than an event—it was a movement. If you missed the final painting reveal, you can now view the piece on public display at the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York City.

To our donors, artists, and attendees—thank you for believing in the healing power of art and the importance of every child having a home. Your compassion is now building something beautiful.

There is no place like home—and you’ve helped create one.
