We’ve got Water! Well Dug for Sofiivska Regional Hospital and Community of 9000 Residents

We are thrilled to share some uplifting news from the heart of Ukraine. In the aftermath of the Kahovka Dam catastrophe, many communities were left without access to clean, running water. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Bird of Light Ukraine took the initiative to dig a well for one such community, ensuring they no longer have to live without this basic necessity.

Project Highlights:

Location: Sofivska, Krivih Rih Oblast

Beneficiaries: A community of 9,000 people, with a primary focus on the regional hospital.

Well Depth: Approximately 90 meters.

The regional hospital, a beacon of hope for many, had been paralyzed due to the lack of running water. With the completion of this well, the hospital can now resume its operations, providing essential medical services to those in need.

This project would not have been possible without the generous financial support of Diamondback Energy. Their commitment to making a difference has been instrumental in turning our vision into reality.

Furthermore, we are grateful for the collaboration with our esteemed partners, The World Orphan Fund and Spiv Diia. Their dedication and expertise played a pivotal role in the successful completion of this project.

Together, we have not only provided water but also hope, resilience, and a brighter future for the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and believed in this cause. It's moments like these that remind us of the power of unity and the difference we can make when we come together.

Stay tuned for more updates and stories of change from Bird of Light Ukraine.
