Restoring Water Supply to Kryvyi Rih Central Hospital

We are delighted to announce a significant improvement in the living conditions and medical services for over 70,800 residents across seven territorial communities in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. This remarkable achievement has been made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors, Diamondback Energy, and the World Orphan Fund.

Located in the village of Novomaiske, the Kryvyi Rih Central District Hospital now has access to a reliable water supply due to the successful drilling of a well to a depth of 120 meters. This accomplishment, facilitated by the combined efforts and contributions of various parties, ensures that the hospital can meet all its water needs with the newly installed pumping equipment.

An essential component of this project is the ongoing installation of a water purification system, supported by additional benefactors. This system will ensure that the hospital receives high-quality, potable water, meeting all necessary standards for safe consumption.

The Kryvyi Rih Central District Hospital is a critical healthcare facility for the local population, providing vital services, especially to those requiring long-term medical assistance. The hospital includes specialized departments for the elderly, such as a geriatric ward, and offers a shelter for veterans with disabilities. This project not only enhances the medical care provided but also ensures a stable and essential water supply for the entire community, contributing to the region’s resilience and sustainability.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Diamondback Energy and the World Orphan Fund for their unwavering support and to all the benefactors who have made this project possible. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the Kryvyi Rih community.
